Most states (see the list in the right column) allow attorneys to apply for individual credit for courses that are not preapproved in their states. The flash drive that comes with both courses (among other things) contains the rules and required forms from the various states for applying for individual CLE credit. Some states will charge you for this individual credit and others will not. Although allowing for individual credit, some states do not like our presentation format. We believe our course is well-designed and valuable and these states may allow it for credit even though not in the right format. You lose nothing if you apply and you are not approved and do not have to pay a fee. If you have to pay a fee, perhaps you may not want to apply unless the state will guarantee you a refund in the case of a denial. As a general rule, most attorney-requested MCLE hours for courses that are not preapproved in their state must be submitted within 30 days of completing the course. A few states require submission of requests before taking the course.
